Well what I take from today is that we've got a striker who can poke home a chance as well as do something amazing. We could probably recoup the money spent on him and Valencia the way the market is now. Yes, we lost to those cunts but we are in an excellent position to challenge for 8th place or above.

As per the Linesman thread definitely close but it was offside. We would all be moaning if it had been given at the other end!! Nolan is looking across the line, could have checked his run and it would have been 2-2 so he is just probably trying to deflect blame to the Assistant Referee.

Agree Zarate should have come on rather than Cole who is worse than useless but what cost us a result today was decision making in the final third.

Up against a weak Man United team with a poor defence and down to 10 men and our final ball was poor every time or the wrong decision was made. We got the ball in wide areas but dwelled on it rather than whip it across quick. When we did make a quick cross we nearly scored or would have done if Nolan had checked his run. Cresswell did really well but he had a great opportunity to cross early but dwelled on it and that was the story of the second half. Carroll would have probably won us the game today as dare I say it we could have gone a bit more direct. Valencia and Sakho have started well but both were a bit selfish today. Valencia's free kick was criminal.

Decent performance but a bit huff and puff and need to improve quality of final ball and decision-making.

It's probably the case that his substitutions in the 2nd half costed us a point at least.

Cole should never, ever me even near the 1st team and it pervades into the rest of the players as soon as he comes on.

I've had enough of Allardyce.

Massive lashing out, far worse than Nolans last season and everyone was up in arms about that

If Joey Barton had committed that foul, the FA would have had a crucifixion

That was so fucking harsh to be given offside

Tell me any advantage that Nolan had? If he was a inch back or a inch forward he was still going to score the goal...

Terrible decision, Lino had a panic moment and shit it cause it was Man U

My stream commentator thought the sending off was harsh.

His co-commentator put him right, calling the foul "violent conduct".

Rooney won't get the extra suspension for that offence, I bet

Motson's fucking senile... Lost it years ago...

Rooney kicked-out... It was violent conduct... Definite red card...

The effort and work-rate was there again today but we were a little bit clueless in possession and with our passing - that's where Noble would've helped massively...

Zarate should've come-on as well to give Man Utd someone else to think about...

A point dropped today but never mind...

2-2 would'vd been fair...

We move-on now...

Sakho's was a foul & yellow, Rooney's was a deliberate kick out way off the ball and an obvious red. Disgraceful thuggery and unworthy of the captain of england.

Definite red. Definitely onside.

Motson is a cunt. Sakho's foul was nowhere near as bad either.

Got back about an hour ago, Really proud of our performance in the 2nd half. Left ourselves with too much to do really but the lads went about the 2nd half in exactly the right way and we had Man Utd on the rack for long periods. The wins will come away from home if we continue to play like that.

Just an observation, but there was another cross that wasn't blocked which led to Rooney's goal and Cresswell has to take some responsibility but he has potential and will hopefully learn from it but needs to tighten up. I think he will be a good player for us and if the team is performing well then that'll help.

No. A lump would be more effective against a team like that - particularly when we already had people who are good with the ball.
